To share files with your students such as readings or handouts, simply add it to your module page as a Resource. You may add PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, zip files, and media such as image, video and audio files.
To organise files into a Folder, you may upload a Folder resource. It can contain files such as PDFs, Word documents or image files.
- To embed text and images directly on your module page, add a Label resource. Labels are especially useful for adding sub-headings and improving the appearance of your module page.
A Page resource allows students to see a single scrollable page within your module. You can format text, add links, images and videos using the text editor.
To share a link to a web page with your students, add a URL resource.
News Forum is a one-way tool that allows easy communication with your students. You can post announcements using News Forum to announce exam dates or any important information about the course. All students and staff enrolled in the module will receive an email copy of the announcements.
Lecturers can manually create events to help students keep track of upcoming due dates and events. Events created in a module will only be visible to either all the students enrolled in the module or a specific group of students depending on the type of event selected.
The assignment activity allows students to submit work for teachers to grade and give feedback on. This is more efficient than email as the submissions could be downloaded at once.
