Dear Staff and Students,
With the increasing predominance of smart phones and tablets, the ICT eLearning team would like to announce that the Learning Portal will be changing to a responsive design. This will address student and staff's request for a more responsive and accessible interface across all devices. Do note that we will still be on Moodle version 2.6.2 and the current functions will remain available. Below are some of the highlights of the responsive design:
- The website will respond to mobile devices and place the content at the top and the blocks underneath
- The login will be at the top right
- If you want to make the text smaller on a Mac, press CMD- or to make text bigger, press CMD+
- Turnitin will be displayed on a bigger frame
- For a cleaner look, all blocks within the module will appear on the left side
- social media icons will be displayed on the bottom right corner
A scheduled maintenance will be carried out on December 01, 2014, from 2pm till 4pm. Kindly refrain from using the Learning Portal during this period.
